Home Builder in Cabarrus County to be Featured in the Charlotte Observer

In this economy, homeowners have decided that remodeling their existing homes versus relocating is a much more feasible option for them and their families.  People sometimes find themselves living in a home that may be outdated and in much need of a facelift.  After realizing this problem, homeowners are then confronted with the inevitable question: “How will I come up with the funding to make these much needed changes to my home?”
After receiving many inquiries from readers, the Charlotte Observer and the Raleigh News and Observer decided to run a piece on the subject.  Although many other publications have produced stories involving home remodeling, the aforementioned newspapers decided to take a different, unorthodox approach.  In an effort not to highlight projects that would cause many homeowners to seek out a second mortgage, the two papers decided to showcase remodels that can be completed for 5,000 dollars or less.  To achieve a dramatic difference in the appearance of one’s home for less than 5,000 dollars is not an easy task; therefore the papers knew that finding the right builder for some knowledgeable insight would be a vital component of their story.
After consulting Charlotte’s NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) office, the two newspapers were directed to Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling.  We have seen tremendous growth in recent years, despite the country’s current economic state.  Janet and Iattribute this growth to our unwavering dedication to client satisfaction and the public’s resignation to the fact that they may not be financially able to relocate to a different home.
We were were asked to reflect on a completed job that has cost our clients less than 5,000 dollars, while at the same time has made a dramatic difference in the look and feel of their home.  Although we have many jobs in our portfolio which have totaled less than 5,000 dollars to complete, I distinctly recall one job in which we removed the façade from a client’s fireplace and installed a gorgeous stone wall in its place.  Although this project did not “break the bank”, for less than 5,000 dollars, the entire feel and intensity of the room has changed.  Other feasible options include changing out all of the existing hardware in one’s home for more contemporary styles, retexturing those hated “popcorn” ceilings, removing non-loadbearing walls to create that much desired open floor-plan, etc..
Along with these insider tips, the two newspapers will also be featuring photos of the our completed work.  The central goal of the newspapers’ story is to educate the public that dramatic remodeling results are within reach, even on a limited budget; call Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling for some helpful remodeling tips or to receive a free consultation and estimate.

Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling Featured in Lake Norman Publication

This past week we were also featured in Lake Norman Woman Magazine. The publication did a feature on our company as a whole and on family dynamics in the workplace. The article inquired about the pitfalls and positive aspects of family working with/for family. Overall, what we desired for the magazine's readers to take away from the article is the fact that at the end of the day, despite any miscommunications or misunderstandings throughout the course of the day, we always feel blessed to be able to work alongside the ones we love the most. We feel that ultimately we bring out the best in one another professionally.
