LETTING YOUR "TEAM" KNOW THEY ARE APPRECIATED

Last night, Janet and I had the pleasure of hosting a dinner for all of our subcontractors, suppliers, and their families.  The event was held at a local Italian restaurant with close to 40 people in attendance.  As the Chief Operating Officer of Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling, I felt that it was time to gather everyone together to reiterate our company's mission and customer service goals, as well as to show our appreciation for the various individuals and businesses that have formed partnerships with us.

Shortly after dinner, I briefly went over the standards of Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling and how we feel each subcontractor and supplier fits right into our business model.  As a company, we always want the client to feel as though our service is somewhat of a value; essentially meaning that although we may not deliver the "lowest bid" when compared to other area builders, we can guarantee  our clients are receiving creative design solutions, incredible customer service, the highest grade of materials, and the expertise of many skilled craftsmen.  This is the ideology of Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling, an ideology that proudly sets us apart from the rest.

Hosting these types of events not only grants one the opportunity to convey an intended message, but it also facilitates an environment of respect.  In showing my appreciation for the hard work and loyalty of subcontractors and suppliers that I am affiliated with, these individuals will hopefully feel respected.  This respect will open up a channel of mutual professional appreciation, in turn leading to a more quality product for the client.  I feel that such an event is an asset to our company's success and plan to host another one next quarter.
